Complex Spinal Implant Assembly
When one of the largest Spinal implant companies needed to launch their newest multi-piece assembly, they came to Infinite Medical Solution to manage the projects. With full machining capabilities, engineers to assist in DFM, Special processes for electro polish and TI anodize cellular manufacture they knew it was the one stop single source solution to complete their product and have reliable project management, VMI and Kan Ban Solutions. Radial Head & Shoulder Implants
Known for innovation, the customer designed an anatomically correct Radial Head, elbow replacement. With complex geometry and difficult to inspect features, Infinite worked with our customer developing the manufacturing, tooling and inspection criteria. With all lofted curved surfaces, 4 RA finishes, Cobalt Chrome materials, taper locking features with +/-.0004 diameters skill and superior processes were needed. Cellular manufacture allowed small run high mix environment to launch to market quickly and effectively. After 10,000 pieces and 100% on time delivery and zero defect- Mission accomplished.
Compression Screw- Variable Pitch Threads Micro Gun Drilling
New challenges, demand new ideas and new processes. We were tasked to develop a continuously changing thread pitch so the thread would “lock” at predetermined points. This with the need for cannulation from .059 down to .025 diameter at well over 50X the diameter, robust processes and solutions were needed. Fortunately, with over 40 years of micro gun drilling experience and proven processes, our customer knew they could get reliable prototypes and move right to production. 200,000 screws later, still going strong and innovating daily.
Suture Buttons and Ti Anodize
Sports medicine and Trauma require innovation to get patients restored and healthy quickly. Micro fixation and suture buttons are innovations that have Machining been keys to trauma care.
